Hmmm, dunno what to say to this one, I remember a song from Neil Young - I don't play for Pepsi, I don't play for coke

Well they always said whisky, scotch or bourbon are better neat - no Pepsi and no coke. Not even on the rocks - that supposed to be a metaphor for no ice or frozen water?

Ok so nothing matters - why blow hot air about global warming? why get hot about Globalisation?

Self-interest don't wanna live in California smog

Self-interest don't wanna eat what I'm sold at hypermarkets

Self-interest it is all personal and economics - how do you get out of it or act against it unless you tackle the issues.

I suppose one can remain impersonal and watch the whole thing go to pot - pun intended.
