Starbucks i$...

This is what Starbucks espresso looks like according to them, and I think they got it just about right, it looks disgusting (like a buck's worth of tar, haha). Look at that crema, insubstantial and very coarse foam. And obviously this shot has been sitting around for a while (again true to type) for the Guinness effect has completely disappeared (crema rising to surface).
I thought I'd never say this but I laud $tarbuck$ for their honesty.
I'll see if I can replicate the image, show you what REAL espresso looks like (and fairtrade to boot).

Yep, not only $tarbucks, even M&S claims to have gone Fairtrade, which means they exploit producers (and local farmers) just a little than the so called Free Markets, the US, son of Bush & Blair are so fond of.

Clowns got an 'open' balcony upstairs - must have a look, any nice views, can you see the world go round as u can in the Market or Quayside on the River?

$Starbucks has the only decent expresso cups in town - those little tube like cups, which u can drink coffee, pernod or schnaps from.

That still doesn't make the coffee any better. That's down to the 'blender' the expresso machine and the smile/good will of the sraff.

Where did you get that expresso in a glass with a wide rim - your expresso be cold before it hits the saucer, never mind by the time you reach your table.

Wide rimmed float boats are for chocolate or coffee drinks with piping hot milk (or water if you are cheapskate or 'english').

We shall teach these Islanders how to drink coffee or 'kawa' - that other funny stuff is just not 'my cuppa tea' - unless u drink tea like the bedouin & Tuareg do. Hot sweet & stewed (no milk) and on the hoof. Camel's hoof - get it!
